A few things I’ve learned:
- Look up at the night sky as often as you can. Time stops in these moments, and you are allowed a beautiful glimpse of eternity. None of us really know where we are or what is going on here. We are floating in space and anything is possible.
- Your mind is expanding with each passing moment. So is the universe.
- This is the most evolved moment ever to exist, and you are here to experience it.
- Follow your bliss. Your happiness matters. It matters more than anything. So figure out what it is that makes your soul glow and spend your life dwelling in it.
- Bad things have happened but that doesn’t mean the world is bad. Let the flowers, crystals, music, trees, dragonflies, stars, memories, dreams and soulmates remind you of the magic the universe is made of.
- There are no mistakes. Everything is as it should be. Your reality will transform when you realize this. Trust the universe. The waves are headed in one direction only to be pushed back by the shore. Be like the waves and trust the process without judgment, without resistance. Nature is embedded with infinite wisdom.
- I have found that love is a state of mind. Fall deeply in love with yourself. This is the surest way to fall in love with someone else, and with the rest of existence too.
- What separates you from the rest of existence? You breathe oxygen, your skin absorbs the molecules in the air, you grow your own hair and nails from the nutrients of the earth. You are the songs you love, the rays of sun that light up the planet, the ancient cities, the oceans, the oxygen exhaled by the plants, and the entirety of the cosmos. There is no separation, only the illusion of it. Don’t limit your perception of yourself.
- Egotism is the greatest handicap. Dissolve your ego and you will become a vessel of pure experience, without perceptions or insecurities holding you back. Life is too short to let anything at all hold you back. Let go and take it all in.
- There is no need to compete. We each have the power to make our lives a work of art. The universe is so perfect, it even allowed each of us to be the main character, the center of the universe. Billions and billions of centers. There’s more than enough for us all.
- Travel as much as you can afford to, and then find a way to travel more. You don’t have to know why yet but I think it’s important. With so much out there, why live your life in one place?
- Try not to take anything too seriously. When you take anything too seriously, you’re looking at life from too close a distance. Our lives are just a blip, a moment in history. Fill your time wisely.
- Our brains have receptors for cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, dimethyltryptamine and countless other natural hallucinogens. Nature and the process of evolution is much too intelligent for this to be a mere coincidence. Perhaps these substances have more to teach us than our society would like to believe.
- None of us have all the answers. But if history can teach us anything, it’s that love is the only way. Let the dark moments that have passed serve as your inspiration. Knowing sadness leads to compassion. You have to know what dark is if you want to find the light.
- Unlimited sources of conscious energy is what we are. We have created this reality from the depths of our minds. We shape the universe with every thought. So always remember to keep love in your heart and the creation is sure to be beautiful.
